The basic background for Pharmacist jobs is to have a degree in pharmacy. People can choose among 25 schools approved by the RPSGB, studying four-year full time. Pharmacy degree requires five GCSE’s (A
*-C) and three A levels or equivalent qualifications as a minimum. Chemistry and other science subject must be among A levels. Most universities have different requirements for these courses, so it is recommended to check every case.

There are other qualifications needed before application such as a pre registration training course in pharmacy, a four-year Master of Pharmacy degree and a registration exam.
