A pharmacist is in charge of properly distributing drugs and medical supplies to members of the public. These trained medical professionals also help with providing advice to patients as well as general information regarding the products they receive.

Education

The basic background for Pharmacist jobs is to have a degree in pharmacy. People can choose among 25 schools approved by the RPSGB, studying four-year full time. Pharmacy degree requires five GCSE’s (A
*-C) and three A levels or equivalent qualifications as a minimum. Chemistry and other science subject must be among A levels. Most universities have different requirements for these courses, so it is recommended to check every case.

There are other qualifications needed before application such as a pre registration training course in pharmacy, a four-year Master of Pharmacy degree and a registration exam.
